It is a sport discipline that combines dance, acrobatics and artistic gymnastics. The practice zone of this discipline is a 13 meters by 13 meters carpet. Its objective at an athletic level is to develop coordination skills, mainly in rhythm, as a basis to its harmonic and aesthetic development.

It is a discipline that can be practiced recreationally or competitively, individually or by teams, with the objective to facilitate strength and flexibility of the body through diverse physical exercises routines.

As for the individual modality, the participants will perform four routines. Each routine is carried out with different items like: Rings, balls, maces and bands.

The wardrobe used by gymnasts is brilliant and of different colors, it complements the routines with fringes and sequins that give a touch of beauty and grace to each participation.
