Bocce

June 10, 2021
Bocce consists in a player getting their bowls as close as possible to an object called jack. The adversary tries, at their turn, to get their bocces even closer to the jack being able to take out the adversary bocces that prevent them to.

The game starts with the ball being thrown by whoever won the draw and the same player must play the first bowl through “arrime”, up next, the adversary must play their bocce of “arrime” trying to get closer to the jack to take away the point or do a “boccese” to clear the way. If this is not achieved, the player must play the next bowl until it is done. Soon after the team that started the game will try to sum their points.

When the bowls are all played, one team counts as many points as owned bowls close to the jack than the best bowl of their adversary.

The match is continued now in the opposite way, with the balin being thrown by who had points in the previous round.

Wins the game the teams that first teaches the agreed upon score (9, 11 or 13 points).

It is played on a surface with synthetic material or leveled dirt of 24 to 27 meters long by 4 meters wide.
