Tennis

June 15, 2021

Tennis is a racket sport that unfolds in a rectangular court, the same can be composed of different surfaces like for example: cement, beaten earth or grass.

This sport is played between two players (individual) or two pairs (doubles). The objective of this game is to throw a ball with the racket to the other court, passing it over the net and within the allowed borders of the rival court.

Other than having a wide range of techniques and resources, the players need great mental fortitude. Some are capable of turning around complicated matches, while others bring themselves down when the pressure and mistakes keep them from playing as they wish.

Tennis is played in games of partials or sets, the player who manages to win a determined number of sets becomes the winner of the game.

Sets are composed of a few matches, each match is qualified by 15, 30, and 40 points. The player that manages to win six games is the winner of the set.
