Visit of the ODESUR Monitoring Commission XII South American Games Asunción 2022.

The monitoring commission of the South American Sports Organization is in the country to evaluate the progress made to date in the organization of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022.

The ODESUR Monitoring Commission will evaluate issues such as; Current structure of the Organizing Committee, Sports Infrastructure, Transportation, Sports, Accommodation and Food.

I want to thank the national government, the National Sports Secretary and the Games Organizing Committee for the effort, we know that we are experiencing a different situation, but we are working with great force and desire to carry out these games. As president of ODESUR, I am very happy"

It should be noted that the Asu2022 Games will generate a great boost for the economic reactivation of the country, thanks to its massive call since it will bring together 15 nations in one of the most important sporting events on the continent and that will have the presence of more than 6,700 athletes. It will leave as a legacy the qualification of sports centers where athletes will be able to train and compete in world-class settings.
