Karen Pereira and Liz Pamela Molinas are working on the construction of the Héroes de Curupayty Stadium, which will be one of the most impressive rugby pitches in South America and will have World Rugby approval.

Karen Rosana Pereira (30) has been working for 7 years as a construction assistant. "I am proud of my work and I want to emphasize that growth depends on us," she said, equipped with masks and protective gloves for COVID-19, while checking that the synthetic grass was adjusted on the track for a sport that requires a lot of skill .

Pereira has an 8-year-old son who, according to her, is proud of her mother. "I am a single mother and my son loves what I do, he used to accompany me on construction sites and is also learning about the world of construction," she added.

“When you feel like working, you can get ahead. Hard work is not only for men”, reflected this mother that she will take a break from work this May 15 to celebrate her day.

Liz Pamela Molinas is also a construction assistant and, like Pereira, works on the site of the Olympic Park. She is 24 years old. “I have been working on construction sites for 2 years, I feel proud, any job when you are a mother is very important. I have a 6-year-old girl and a 1-year and 8-month-old boy, and I am happy to be able to support my home with this job,” she said.

She ended by mentioning: “At first I thought this job could cost me a lot, but now I feel very good working here. That there is work, there is and for women we want to get ahead ”.

Constructions in the Olympic Park It should be noted that the works continue to strictly comply with the prevention protocols established by the health authorities of the National Government.
