Tokyo 2020 qualifying is held at the Asu 2022 game host

From Wednesday, May 25, the qualifying event for the Tokyo 2022 Olympic Games takes place.

Governed under the organization of the Paraguayan Federation of Aquatic Sports and with the endorsement of the International Swimming Federation, the International Open begins today, the last qualifying event for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The event will take place until Saturday, May 29, at the National Aquatic Center, which is also the venue for the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, where the sports of Swimming, Diving and Artistic Swimming will be played.

Around 370 swimmers will participate in the International Open, from countries such as Uruguay, Bolivia, Panama, Honduras, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Paraguay.
The first qualifying round begins at 09:30 am. The finals and races of the Master category will be in the afternoon, starting at 18:00.

There are a total of 4 days of competition, which will be played in double shifts, on Thursday and Friday they will be the eliminatory, finals and master tests are scheduled for the same times.
