The South American Sports Organization is an organization that aims to promote the values and principles of the Olympic movement. At the same time working tirelessly for athletes, providing everything they need in terms of infrastructure, coaches and everything related to optimizing their development and their highest performance.
ODESUR's objectives are the following:
Ensure the four-year holding of the South American Games in the manner provided in the regulations of the organization, which must be held two years after the organization of the Summer Olympic Games.
Establish relationships with American regional sports organizations recognized by the International Olympic Committee - IOC.
Disseminate, in accordance with the Olympic Charter, the principles and postulates of the Olympic movement.
