WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU VOLUNTEER FOR ASU2022?

Being a volunteer for the XII South American Games ASU2022 you will have what is required for the best performance of your duties:

  • Training: you will receive all the necessary information to be part of this great event and leave a mark on your community or locality.
  • Certifications: you will receive certification for your participation in the Major Sporting Event of Paraguay.
  • Clothing: you will represent the organization with the official volunteer uniform, designed exclusively for you.
  • Insurance: you will be covered against any accident in the performance of your duties.
  • Transportation and food: for the best performance of your functions during the event.


You will live an unparalleled experience by having the possibility of interacting with people from 15 countries in South America, with whom you will also practice your languages, in case you have command of several languages.
 
You will have a social and sports work experience that will strengthen your resume and expand your network of friends and contacts locally and internationally.
 
You will be part of the social legacy in volunteering for the coming years, contributing to the development and positioning of Paraguay.
 
The South American Games are a multidisciplinary sporting event in which athletes from all South American countries except French Guiana participate. Some Caribbean countries also participate. They are organized by the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR).
 
One of the characteristics of the South American Games is to compete with Olympic sports and also include others that are not on the Olympic Games program, such as karate.
 
ODESUR's objective is: To ensure the four-yearly holding of the South American Games in the manner provided for in the Organization's Regulations, which must be held two years after the organization of the Summer Olympic Games.
