ASU2022 kicked off with skateboarding capturing the attention of young people. 
 
The Paraguayan Olympic Committee witnessed the start of the XII South American Games Asuncion 2022, with a young sport: skateboarding, an extreme and exceptional practice for the opening of a competition of these characteristics. 
 
Skateboarding was incorporated as an Olympic sport in Tokyo 2020, and for ASU2022 has called for the presence of outstanding athletes from each of the participating delegations.
