In the presence of Camilo Pérez López Moreira and Larissa Schaerer, President and General Manager of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee respectively, and H.E. Diego Galeano Harrison, Minister of the National Sports Secretariat, the presentation of the commemorative postage stamp for the XII South American Games Asunción 2022 took place. 
 The stamp design presents a torch symbolizing the arrival of the South American fire from Tiahuanaco, Bolivia to our country.  

The national identity is represented by the flag of Paraguay, which is located to the right of the graphic.  
Before arriving in our country on September 9, 2022, in the temple "Kalasasaya" (standing stones) - a ceremonial monument estimated to be 15 thousand years old - the amautas (from Quechua, teachers or wise men) prepared a table that was offered to Pachamama (Mother Earth) as part of the ceremony to light the South American torch, bearer of the best wishes of the venue where the sports event was born for the XII edition to be held from October 1 to 15 in Paraguay. 

The graphic motif integrates the logos of ASU2022, the short name of the Games and the ODESUR logo. On the same postage stamp, the slogan created for this international multi-sport event can be seen, "El sueño de todos" (Everyone's dream), an expression that represents the desire of the athletes and also the feelings of a country.
