The complete program was carried out from the Velodrome, one of the star venues of the ASU2022 Games, located in the COP Olympic Park, where the different modalities of the Track Cycling discipline will take place.


Galeano Harrison, who yesterday was the last torch relay and in charge of lighting the cauldron of the South American Fire at the National Sports Secretariat (SND), expressed the emotion that exists for the arrival of the ASU2022 Games, which will take place from October 1 to 15, and highlighted the work of the Local Organizing Committee for the realization of this international multi-sport event.

Also, Pérez López Moreira highlighted the work that has been done to carry out the ASU2022 Games, commenting that due to the pandemic, the organization was suspended on 3 occasions, however, currently everything is on track to start the biggest sports party. from the country. "A dream come true," he said.


For his part, Deggeller explained that the arrival of more than 4,800 athletes from 14 countries is expected, while a flow of more than 20,000 people is estimated in the different sports venues that include Asunción, Luque, Mariano Roque Alonso, Lambaré, Encarnación, San Juan del Paraná and Hernandarias.

The Track Cycling had an exclusive space in "the magnifying glass", where the operation of the special bicycles for the sport, the different modalities that it has and the skills that the cyclist possesses were explained.
