The XII South American Games will have Padel as a guest sport, which although it will not officially add to the medal count, it will be presented as a guest sport, offering one more sporting spectacle to those present.  

 
It will count with double categories for women and men. 

The Paddle Tennis competition will take place at the National Sports Secretariat (SND) on October 7, 8 and 9 and athletes from countries whose National Olympic Committees are part of ODESUR will be able to participate.   


Each country may participate with 1 pair in each branch, and a captain.  

The courts are approved by the APF (American Padel Federation) and comply with all the requirements of the FIP (International Padel Federation) regulations. 

Athletes must wear only regulation clothing and shoes for paddle competitions, and each country must provide national uniforms for their athletes.    

It is strictly forbidden to wear clothing with any commercial advertisement. The ODESUR technical commission may require a competitor to change his/her competition clothing in case of non-compliance with the above.  


 This is in accordance with the ODESUR General Regulations; Chapter XXVI - ART 97,98,99,100,101,102.
