P​araguay prepares to receive the South American Fire

Once it is lit in the cauldron, it adopts the name of South American Llama.

One month before the start of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, the torch is preparing to travel to every corner of the country and illuminate the venues where the best athletes of the continent will be measured by raising their flags at the sports festival.

The countdown tells us that there are 30 days left before the start of the sports festival and every day the dream of all national athletes to represent the flag in front of our people from October 1 is throbbing stronger, longing for a large amount of medals from our delegation.
Arrival of the symbol of the Games
The South American Fire is in Bolivia, waiting to arrive in the country on Friday, September 9 to visit the 17 departments, thus bringing the symbol of the Games to each compatriot who will experience an unprecedented sports festival in our country.
South American Fire Tour
Day 1: The South American Fire will arrive at the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, starting the tour at the two main venues of the Games: the National Sports Secretariat and the Paraguayan Olympic Committee.

Day 2: El Fuego will reach the Chaco, specifically in Villa Hayes and Philadelphia.

Day 3: Following the tour of the Chaco soil, the South American Fire will visit Alto Paraguay, and then set out on the way to Concepción.

Day 4: The torch will arrive in the city of Concepción, where it will travel through the city's historic streets.

Day 5: The department of Amambay will receive the Fire in its departmental capital, the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, and then go to San Pedro de Ykuamandyju where it will remain during the afternoon.

Day 6: Saltos del Guairá will have a visit from El Fuego, which will then head to the east of the country.

Day 7: The South American Symbol will arrive at one of the sub-host cities of the Asu2022 Games: Ciudad del Este, and then it will visit the city of Hernandarias.

Day 8: Caaguazú, capital of wood, will receive the South American Fire, which will then tour the streets of Villarrica, Guairá.

Day 9: The Fire will reach the pearl of the South, Pilar, and the city of Caazapá.

Day 10: Encarnación says present on the route receiving the South American Fire.

Day 11: The department of Cordillera will receive the Fire in the city of Caacupé.

Day 12: On the last day in the interior of the country, the torch will travel through the city of Paraguarí, and then return to the central department.

Day 13: El Fuego will tour different cities of the central department, closing the great route.
