On Friday, August 5, the official presentation of Paseo La Galería took place as a shopping center and official accreditation center for the XII South American Games Asunción 2022.

The event took place on the 3rd Level Bridge of Paseo La Galería, located on Santa Teresa Avenue between Aviadores del Chaco Avenue and Herminio Maldonado Street.

The event was attended by His Excellency Diego Galeano Harrison, Minister Secretary of Sports and President of the Organizing Committee of the South American Games Asunción 2022; Mr. Camilo Pérez López Moreira, member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and president of ODESUR; Mr. Amilcar Guillen, General Director of the Cabinet of the National Sports Secretariat (SND); Mr. Ricardo Deggeller, General Coordinator of the ASU2022 Games; and Mrs.

Tiziana Bussini, Commercial and Marketing Manager of Paseo La Galería, who will sign the agreement between both institutions. Pérez López Moreira gave the opening speech, thanking the support shown by Paseo La Galería for the ASU2022 Games. "From the first moment, we were received with open doors. We are getting closer, so this incorporation is fantastic to promote our beloved Paraguay," he said. For his part, Bussini stated: "It is an honor to be able to be official partners of ASU2022, it is a luxury that these Games are held in Asunción. Without a doubt this will be a success.

We will have a parade of top-level athletes at Paseo La Galería, through the Games Accreditation Center". Galeano Harrison closed the event highlighting such an important addition to the ASU2022 family and highlighting the Accreditation Center that the Games will have thanks to the new sponsor.

"We added a very important sponsor for us. We are going to receive a large number of people and it is not easy to find a place like this as an Accreditation Center, due to the location, the facilities, the good treatment.

Thank you for joining ASU2022, the most greatest in the country's history," he concluded. In this way, one of the most important shopping malls in the region joins the ASU2022 family, also becoming the main accreditation center for the Games, so it will play a very important role in the realization of this multi-sport event that will convene to more than 7,000 national and international athletes and officials.
