Within the framework of the 2 months of his management and the International Day of Friendship, on the morning of Saturday, July 30, His Excellency Diego Galeano Harrison, Minister Secretary of Sports and President of the Organizing Committee of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, invited the presidents of the different National Sports Federations for a working breakfast in the Ambassadors Room of the Deportista Róga Hotel of the National Sports Secretariat (SND).

This meeting served to inform the country's Sports Federations about the organizational progress of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, in areas such as infrastructure, posters, fan fest, sports calendars and other events related to this historic event for the country.

The Minister Secretary of Sports also presented the coordinators of the Functional Areas of the ASU2022 Games, the departments of Operations, Games Services, Sports Technical Management, ICTs and Marketing and Communication, with the aim of strengthening joint work between federations and the Local Organizing Committee.

The Sports Federations play a very important role in our society, both in the training of athletes, conducting competitions and accompanying the athletes of the Sports Elite, for this reason, Galeano considers the joint work with sports representatives to be vital. The working day was chaired by the Minister Secretary of Sports, Mr. Camilo Pérez López Moreira, member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and president of the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR) and Mr. Ricardo Deggeller, general coordinator of the ASU2022 games.
