This Thursday, at 11:30 a.m., the presentation of Diesa for its Volkswagen brand as the official vehicle of the Xll South American Games Asunción 2022 was held at the Deportista Róga of the National Sports Secretariat (SND).

The event was attended by His Excellency Diego Galeano Harrison, Minister Secretary of Sports and President of the Organizing Committee of the South American Games Asunción 2022; Mr. Camilo Pérez López Moreira, Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and President of ODESUR; and on behalf of the firm Diesa, Mr. Miguel Carrizosa, president and managing director of said firm, was present.

The president of ODESUR opened the event with his words highlighting the great work that has been done 65 days before the opening of the Games and welcomed Diesa to the ASU2022 family. “It is a joy that a Paraguayan company with so much tradition is accompanying this edition of the ASU2022 Games. We appreciate the support of Volkswagen and Miguel (Carrizosa), especially since he is a sports lover,” he said.

While Carrizosa highlighted the hard work of the SND and the COP to promote Paraguayan athletes and delivered a key to symbolically seal the agreement between the XII South American Games Asunción 2022 and DIESA.

For his part, Galeano thanked DIESA for supporting the holding of this multi-sport event that will mark a before and after in national sports development.

How could it not be missing, Tiríka, the official representative of the ASU2022 Games, made a dance presentation, livening up the event, giving rise to the authorities taking pictures of this important convention.

DIESA is one of the prestigious brands that join the Asunción 2022 Games to be held in Paraguay from October 1 to 15, with the participation of 15 countries that make up ODESUR. The event will bring together more than 7,000 athletes and officials, 34 sports, 53 modalities, 38 sports venues and more than 5,000 volunteers.
