Continuing with the joint work actions of the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur) and the National Secretariat of Sports (SND) with a view to the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, the training cycle for taxi drivers continues its course.

The unionized drivers of the Paraguayan Association of Taxi Drivers of Asunción (APTA), host city of the XII South American Games, will be instructed to guide and attend to the athletes, judges and foreign visitors of this discipline.

Paraguay will receive the visit of more than 7,000 athletes and officials during this international multi-sport event. In addition, a flow of more than 10,000 people is expected in the different venues where it will take place and for this, the taxi drivers of the different cities, venues of the ASU2022 Games, will be prepared.

The topics addressed on this day will be: Tourist Culture, Manual of Good Practices for Customer Service in Taxis, Asunción as a tourist destination, General information on the ASU2022 Games and its importance for the country.

The activity will take place this Wednesday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m. at the premises of the Lambaré Taxi Drivers Association.

This is one of the various actions planned jointly by the SND and the Senatur with a view to organizing this international multi-sport event that will take place for the first time in our country.
