On the morning of Friday, July 15, a "Fam Press" was held through an informative tour of the sports venues of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, located in the park of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP).

The day began at 10:30 and was attended by the Minister of Sports (SND), Diego Galeano Harrison; the president of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP), Camilo Pérez López Moreira, the general coordinator of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022, Ricardo Deggeller, athletes from the Paraguayan sports elite and technicians from the institutions.

Galeano Harrison and Pérez López Moreira thanked all the participants and officially kicked off the activity from the COP Olympic Medalists Room, and invited journalists and communicators to tour the Paraguayan Olympic Field, which will be the sports city during this sporting fair.

“We want to share the progress of the works. It is important that the press and athletes be able to tour the works and provide constructive comments to continue advancing and arrive at the Games in the best possible way, ready to experience this unprecedented party. We invite our friends in the press to wear the ASU2022 shirt”, said the Minister of Sports at the opening of the event.

For his part, the president of the COP made a brief presentation of the Olympic Park, the largest in South America, specifying the sports venues that are part of the ASU2022 Games circuit, 16 venues in total. The official representative of the ASU2022 Games, Tiríka, was also present during the "Fam Press", accompanied the invited group and the authorities, who, before boarding the buses that took them to the works, received ASU2022 t-shirts.

The scenarios that were part of the circuit were: the Velodrome, the Skating Track and the Shooting Range.

The journalists had the opportunity to learn more about the works and the sports disciplines that will be carried out in each of these locations, through informative talks and exclusive interviews with the authorities present, those in charge of the functional areas and the Paraguayan athletes who accompanied the tour.

The circuit began with the Velodrome, then continued through the Skating Track, the Shooting Range and ended in the Medalists' Hall. During included an explanatory talk about each sport modality.

Finally, the activity came to an end in the Olympic Medalists Room, where a space was opened for simultaneous interviews and a pleasant brunch shared by the authorities present with the journalists and representatives of communication agencies.
