On the morning of Thursday, July 14, the Organizing Committee of the XII South American Games Asunción 2022 met with the representatives of the Focal Points that will carry out joint work for this international multi-sport event that will take place from July 1 to 15. october.

The Focal Points are those public institutions whose mission is to cooperate in the planning of the ASU2022 Games with the Organizing Committee and respond to different areas.

The meeting was headed by the general coordinator of the ASU2022 Games, Ricardo Deggeller, who presented the functional areas of the Organizing Committee to these public entities.

An extensive dialogue was held about the areas of Accommodation, Transportation, Food, Security, Infrastructure, Medical Services, Spectator Services, Games Services, Volunteer Program, Protocol, Venue Operation, Technology, Marketing and Communication; as well as important events within the framework of the ASU2022 Games, such as the route of the South American Flame, the "50 Days" event, the opening and closing of this historic sporting event for our country.

Likewise, this space was used to coordinate new work actions with the areas to which the Organizing Committee is responsible, especially with entities such as the National Secretariat of Tourism (SENATUR), the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC), the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC) and the National Police.

At the end of the meeting, the authorities present participated in a "meeting" with the coordinators of the functional areas of ASU2022 and planned a future work update meeting for the coming weeks with the aim of holding successful Games that will leave Paraguay before the eyes of the world like a great sports polo shirt.
