Handball is a sport that is played with two teams of seven players each, one goalkeeper and six players. The ball is passed between the players of each team using a hand until they score the goal of the rival team. The team with the highest score wins.
The duration of the matches is 30 minutes each, if the teams are tied at the end of the regulation time in the knockout phase, the game goes to extra time. If after two periods of extra time there is no winner, there will be a penalty shootout. The winner will be the one with more goals scored.
This sport will be developed at the venue of the National Sports Secretariat, in the SND Arena, a modern closed sports center, counting with a capacity of 4,500 spectators, three bleachers and a VIP box.
