It's formed by two teams of three athletes in the court and one substitute with the possibility to make a change, its played in a court of 11 meters long by 15 meters wide, and only one hoop (alf of an official basketball court) both teams score with the ball, rotating between attack and defense.
In basketball 3x3 the line of two points works as the line of three points in conventional basketball. The scored hoops from outside the line sum two points, while the ones inside the line sum one point (free throws sum one point as well, if the foul is committed inside the semicircle).
Wins the team with a higher score or equal score at the end of the 10 minute period, or the first to reach 21 points. If the score is tied after 10 minutes, the game goes for an extra time, in which the winner is the one who scores two points first.
